MESOLIPO

Mesolipo, also known as fat dissolving injections, is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that involves injecting a solution of phosphatidylcholine (PC) and other substances into the subcutaneous fat layer to dissolve fat cells. It is marketed as a nonsurgical alternative to liposuction for reducing localized fat deposits.

Mechanism of Action

PC is a type of phospholipid, a major component of cell membranes. It is believed to act by disrupting the cell membranes of fat cells, leading to their death and eventual removal by the body's lymphatic system. The other substances in the mesolipo solution are thought to enhance the fat-dissolving effect of PC and reduce inflammation.

Application Areas

Mesolipo is commonly used to target localized fat deposits in various areas of the body, including Abdomen, Thighs, Buttocks, Arms, and Chin.
